Nine Cacti sculptures were erected to activate gallery spaces. In order to
preserve separation between the presenting artists’ work, the sculptures
attempts to exist as a symbol of the American west, while embracing their
own artificiality.
The entirely 3d printed sculptures sit on recycled wooden bases and use
wooden dowels as spines. The design rely on toy-research and glean
inspiration from prior activations at the gallery.
